Solution Focused Therapy is exactly what it sounds like — focused on solutions, not problems. While understanding your past can sometimes provide context, my approach doesn’t require you to revisit painful experiences or relive trauma. In fact, continually going over the past can sometimes bring old emotions into the present, making it harder to move forward.
I work content-free when needed — meaning you can share as much or as little as you choose. Our sessions focus on where you are now, and where you’d like to be. The aim is always forward movement, helping you create the calm, confident future you want without being weighed down by what’s gone before.
Choosing the right therapy — and the right therapist — can make all the difference. Every child, teen, family and individual I work with is unique, and so is the way we approach our sessions. Whether you or your child is struggling with anxiety, emotional regulation, low confidence, or challenges linked to ADHD, ASD, AuDHD or other neurodivergent traits, you will always be met with patience, warmth, and respect. There is no judgement here — only understanding, encouragement, and practical support.
My role is to create a calm, safe space where you can learn to understand your minds, regulate emotions, and rediscover your strengths. With the right support, change doesn’t have to be daunting — it can be empowering, liberating, and even joyful. Together, we’ll help you move from overwhelm to confidence, from self-doubt to self-belief, and from coping to thriving, and be the you, the real you, you want to be.

Anxiety
Anxiety is a modern day symptom of fear. One of the ways I can help you is by reducing your stress load to lessen your anxiety, and symptoms.
Depression
Depression is surprisingly common and it’s easily treatable. We will replace previous behavioural patterns with more positive ones, I will work with you gently, and at a pace that you are comfortable with, moving forward one step at a time.
Pain
I can’t help with all pain, and it’s always a good idea to check with a medical practitioner first. However, I can help chronic pain sufferers and make a real difference to your day to day life.
Phobias
Permanent change can be achieved in no time at all! You’ll be able to jump on that plane, get in that lift or clear the garage of all those old empty boxes and bags without worrying about what you might be lurking in the corners.

How I Work
How It Began
Working with the mind and body for over 17 years, I began to explore the tremendous power between the mind and body and created the Meditation Massage, a massage that combined trance with a relaxing massage. I learnt how to work with the mind and body, to create a deeper level of relaxation. Now as a hypnotherapist, I work with the mind to relax the body, to make real life long changes, FOREVER.
From Massage To Mind
I cannot tell you how many bodies I have massaged over the years that were like concrete walls. My clients came to me for relaxation, to have someone else hold their space whilst they let go of all the tension and stress that they were holding in their bodies. The massages were great and helped them to switch off. It gave them an hour “away”. But I could often see the tension returning as they left the safety of my clinic room. SFH helps you rewire your mind in a way that will help you cope better with day to day life, deal with stress more easily, overcome your fears, and help you say no to those sneaky snacks that have crept into your diet recently. SFH helps you make the right choices for you.
Real Lifelong Changes
It’s not a quick fix or a magic wand. In terms of therapies, you will start to see changes early on, but it takes commitment, dedication and most of all, a will to change. SFH uses a combination of talk therapy with trance to create a positive life change. In a relatively short period of time, I will work with you to address what you want to achieve, make changes in your life. And we, together, will work towards this. SFH is not a one a trick pony. It is not like waving a magic wand. I will require you to commit to sessions and do some work in-between these to ensure the neuropaths we are creating together become strong and well grounded. In time, negative thought patterns will be completely replaced and you will start living the life you choose – not the life that chooses you.
Working Online
All sessions with me are currently online. During the pandemic so many of us changed the way we work and working online became “the norm”. Not only was I able to continue my work this way, but was also able to see the many benefits. There is no need for travel or the stresses it brings with it. I can work with clients all over the world, and all you need is an internet connection – so we can have sessions wherever you are.
Reassurance
I have had several clients that when told I work only on Zoom, where exasperated – nearly didn’t commit to therapy as they were ZOOMED out. “Work is now on ZOOM – it’s too much.” I get it, I understand. But if you look at it in another way, you are not spending time travelling to me. You are not worrying about traffic. You do not have put your shoes on or your coat if it’s raining – you don’t even have to get out of your dressing gown if you don’t want to. And the best bit? For the 2nd half of our sessions, you’ll be in trance! So, I’ll only need to you present online so -to-speak for 20-30 mins, then it’s relax, lie down on the couch, chair or back in bed and let me do the rest. I have worked with many clients with anxiety, depression, work performance, phobias (spiders, planes, escalators), weight loss and so much more, and each and every one has had a positive outcome working this way.
